Tours and Farm Visits

Interested in what we do? I do host farm tours throughout the spring, summer, and fall months. If you are looking for a tour or educational program for your group. See below:

Farm Tours

Farm tours at Willow Run Farmstead are a great way to learn about sustainable farming, silvopasture and water management practices.

Recommended group size 25 or less

Suggested Donation: $50.00 per hour

School aged children or older are welcome.  We request that enough adults be present to ensure the safety of children as we walk and tour the farm.

Educational Programs

I have my master’s in library science and bachelor’s degree in education. With this experience, I am able to provide educational events for classes, homeschool groups and more at the farm. Because these programs also require more planning and supplies on my part, the suggested donation includes this time.

Recommended group size 25 or less

Suggested Donation: $50.00 per hour + $50.00 for 1 hour of planning

Large Group Tours

Recommended group size 50 or more

Any events with attendance higher than 50 will require additional support and man-power from the organizations participating. Also, larger events take more of the farm’s time and effort.

Suggested Donation: $5.00 per attendee including chaperones

This is a guide, not a rule. If these suggested donations would keep you from requesting a tour, please reach out anyway. These suggestions have been put in place simply because of the increased demand for tours, my love for doing them, and my need to be paid for my time. For the people and organizations that have the capacity to pay, this is an ask for them, but not meant to prohibit those who cannot.
